And as Anna turns to the locals for answers, she?s instead faced with an eclectic cast of suspects who seem no more welcoming than Fairlie himself? Trapped on the estate and cut off from mainland by a fierce winter blizzard, Anna and local DS Lachlan McKay are left completely on their own to catch the killer and untangle the web of secrets that have shrouded this isolated community for years.
